I didn't want to say goodbye, so recommend this hotel. The room I booked was a nice size with modern furniture. The breakfast was complimentary, the check in was early...
Views were quite bad.

my favourite property in prague. the good and unbeatable location for the price, not far from praha 8. nearby botanique bistro & bar - great place to chill out. delicious breakfast with champagne - well worth the money.

The king-size bed was comfortable. The room was well-appointed with ample storage space, and the shower had consistent hot water, a relief after long walks.
The coffee machine at breakfast struggled to deliver a decent brew, leaving my mornings a bit lackluster. I also noticed the walls in my room could use a scrub. Dirt and scuffs were present, less inviting. The bar closing early was a real buzzkill for nightcaps, and the absence of tea and coffee facilities in the room meant I had to go without my usual cup in the morning. For what it's worth, the street itself was quiet, but the overall ambience felt a bit flat with limited life around the hotel.

We have been to Prague before but this was the first time we had stayed at the hotel Alwyn. If we visit Prague again we will definitely stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We also ate in the hotel restaurant 3 out of 5 of the nights as the food was excellent. We travelled with a young baby and needed a kettle for his bottles which was provided along with a travel cot which was in the room on arrival. Thank you to all the staff for a friendly welcome.

The staff were genuinely friendly and always willing to assist with recommendations for local attractions. The breakfast had a good variety, offered fresh items, and was replenished regularly.
Minor cleanliness issues in room.

First of all, we loved the lady at the reception. She was helpful, smart and nice. After that, the room was great, simple but lovely. Free parking is a plus and we also liked that the hotel is in a quiet zone. Breakfast buffet was ok, healthy food, but tasty. Great tea (Ronnefeldt) !! :)
The windows were not the cleanest. But that's about all. It is a great hotel and I would recommend it to everyone.

Hotel Alwyn is 3 years old, en beautifully styled. It has only 24 rooms so the service is very personal. They have 6 reserved parking places in front of the hotel for free. (the whole street is free parking also but there are a lot of cars already, so ask to reserve a parkingplace in advance. The deluxe rooms are very nice and spacious with a balcony and a bath. The standard rooms have a shower and no balcony. Restaurant is very good, hotel clients get 20% discount on the bill. There is a fitness room (free) sauna (euro 10). Located in a quiet street close to city centre (25 minutes by foot, trams on the corner of the street, 5 minutes). Breakfast is excellent.
For walking to the city centre 25 minutes is just too long. You can buy a 24 hours (and up to 3 days) metrocard in the Florenc metro station. 500 meters walk. You need to pay in coins in the machine (110 cz krona for adults). After that you can use this card for metro and trams as well. The balconies overlook the backside of the hotel with a big flat 300 meters away. The view is not nice, but you can sit outside.

My room was comfortable but smelled odd. The bar closing early was annoying.

Staff were great & genuine. Excellent value for money, the hotel is modern and clean with a nice restaurant and lobby bar. Rooms are large and comfortable with good sized bathroom & shower. Plenty of english language channels, good air conditioning, wifi worked well (we were in the last room at the end of the hallway), has a fridge. Walk into town takes 15 minutes or the Florenc metro stop is only 5 minutes away.
There is very little to do near the hotel & most nearby shops are shut on weekends so you must go into town. Area is safe after midnight so walking back from town is fine.

The hotel is very good. The location is just fine, near to a Metro station and you can also take for one station tram no. 8/24 if you don't want to walk. near the hotel there are restaurants, supermarket and a small mall. The staff are very nice and helpful. The room is great, clean and very comfortable. There is a free WIFI in the room. The breakfast is very very good. I definitely recommend this hotel!
I'd rather if the room has a bath instead of a shower.

The fitzgerald is a hidden gem with a great location, just a short tram ride from the center. The a/c was perfect during the hot summer, and the breakfast was a nice energy boost for our day out. The friendly super nice team, giving us great tips on local eateries and sightseeing.

The staff were very courteous, polite and helpful and went out of their way to make me, and the other guests, comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble to ask. A rarity in Prague. Even the kitchen staff who were supervising breakfast were friendly!
